Wii Audio Cable

The WII HDTV cables are really important
You need to remember that your TV must be a high-definition TV or enhanced-definition TV in order to view 480p output. You will also have to change your WII settings from Standard TV (480i) to EDTV/HDTV in order to view 480p. You cannot see WII progressive display output in case the Wii Console System is hooked to a TV by using any other kind of cable and not WII HDTV cables.
This component video cable is for the WII. It will not work with any other system.
The video cable that is supplied with the Nintendo WII can be used with both standard as well as high-definition televisions with composite video connectors. However, the WII console can also be connected to HDTVs by using the optional Wii Component video cable or the WII HDTV cables. The WII HDTV cables are sold separately and can only be used with HDTVs that have component video connectors. The video that is displayed from the WII will be of higher resolution than that from the standard WII video cable.
Turn off both the WII and your HDTV before you hook up the WII HDTV cables. Locate the connectors on the television. The component input is usually located at the back of the television.
Now connect the three WII HDTV cables with the video component jacks on your HDTV. The three cables will be bundled together separately from the two audio cables. Now plug the green video cable into the green jack and plug the blue video cable into the blue jack, and plug the red video cable into the red jack. Connect the two audio cables to the audio component jacks that are on your HDTV. The red and white audio cables will be bundled together. Plug the red WII HDTV cables into the red jack and the white WII HDTV cables into the white jack. Leave the yellow WII HDTV cables unplugged in case your model of the WII component video cable came with a sixth yellow cable.
You can plug the rectangular connector at the other end of the WII HDTV cables into the “Digital AV Out” port which is located on the back of the WII console. Turn on both the HDTV as well as WII. Locate the correct Input. Then the WII home screen will be displayed on the television. The WII HDTV cables are specific to their game consoles.
